Day 3 - Central Park in New York City

Day 3 (6th July) - Second stop on  Day 3 was Central Park. Visiting this place was one the best thing in my 10 days trip in New York. The park is really big with number of tourist activities. I spent around 2-3 hours over there, got absorbed in tranquility. Outside the park, roads were full of traffic din & people rushing from one place to another, but inside there was calmness as families were enjoying themselves under natural greenery and bright sun shine.

Central Park is an urban park in the New York City borough of Manhattan.Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1962, the park is currently managed by the Central Park Conservancy under contract with the city government. The Conservancy is a non-profit organization that contributes 83.5% of Central Park's $37.5 million annual budget and employs 80.7% of the park's maintenance staff. Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States. - Wikipedia

*Highly recommended place if you are in NYC.

  3. Lovely pictures Vishal. Anybody going to the NYC in the summers invariably lands up at the Central Park. Huge area to walk around amidst greenery, people playing music, food stalls, games and all that stuff.
